Welcome to Open Gate Quilts
New for the fall of 2008,
I have designed 7 patterns. They are located in the newest pattern section.
We have been doing alot of vending at quilt shows this
summer and fall. We also had our second retreat in Hillpoint, WI at Homestead Cabin. We
had a blast with several new quilters joining us and many second timers. Look for our next retreat in Augusta,
WI in May of 2009.
Glory and Maple's winter coats are coming in and
they are very frisky with the cooler weather (me too!) We have been walking every day when it doesn't rain and even
sometimes when it does. The neighbors know us by the "lady with the two sheepdogs". Maple thinks she
needs to greet every dog she passes and knows which house has a dog. Glory loves the people and will pull me over to
see them, whether they want her to or not. They both are very friendly and love to be out and about. For the next few months, Sue and I will be headed to
Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa. It's always fun to see familiar faces so if you happen to be in the area where I am
